Freaking myself out over here folks!

My surgery was nearly 12 weeks ago, okay…about 10. Things have been awesome. My incision is turning into a nice little scar, my hair is growing back, I’m off all pain meds…then…BAM I start getting headaches again.

I ignored them at first. I mean, what’s a little pounding at the temples?

Then I remembered that damn mass that’s still in my brain.

Traditional vs. Self-pubbing

As I get closer to the end of editing and what not, I start thinking about publishing. Okay, I’m not nearly there, but closer than just starting out. My first round of edits are almost done so, getting there.

For the longest time there was one route to go, through an agent. Now with the wonderful internet, authors have more options.

Entering the editing and query stage

I write. I write a LOT. Well, I’ve been working on a fairy tale retelling and have “finished” it. “Finished” meaning the first draft, errr, second draft is done. (I trashed the first go through because I just hated it at the end. This one…I LOVE!)

I hate query letters.
